WARNER ROBINS, Ga. – The largest unit at the Robins Air Force Base is getting a new commander.
Brig. Gen. Walter Lindsley will lead the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex starting Monday. A ceremony is scheduled for the afternoon in the Museum of Aviation.
More than 7,700 personnel handle maintenance and repairs on Air Force equipment and weapons systems in the unit. They also develop software and other products.
Lindsley comes to Georgia from the Air Force Materiel Command center at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio. Lindsley takes over from Brig Gen. Cedric George, who is headed to the Pentagon.
