The Air Force announced today that 1,882 first lieutenants were selected for promotion to captain in the quarterly selection for calendar 2014.
Officers considered are in the line of the Air Force, judge advocate and chaplain, nurse, medical services and biomedical service corps.

Line of the Air Force: 1,752 selected from 1,768 considered for a 99.1 percent select rate
Chaplain: 1 selected from 1 considered for a 100 percent select rate
Judge advocate: 9 selected from 9 considered for a 100 percent select rate
Nurse Corps: 55 selected from 56 considered for a 98.2 percent select rate
Medical Services Corp: 14 selected from 14 considered for a 100 percent select rate
Biomedical services corps: 50 selected from 50 considered for a 100 percent select rate
