More than 33,000 U.S. and Australian troops are taking part in Talisman Sabre 2015, a massive exercise in Australia that involves air assaults, amphibious landings and other challenging events.
The exercise, which lasts until July 19, involves soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines and includes several U.S. Navy ships, including the aircraft carrier George Washington.
As part of the exercise, the Marines launched an amphibious assault to capture Fog Bay.
More than 400 soldiers with the Army's 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, parachuted out of U.S. and Australian C-17s as part of an air assault along with the Australian Army's 7th Brigade.
And U.S. and Australian troops got their PT on, getting to know "Green Sally" better.
