President Obama will deliver the commencement address at the Air Force Academy's graduation ceremony on June 2, the academy said in a release Thursday.

The Class of 2016's graduation will mark the second time Obama has delivered a commencement address at the academy. It will also be his last time addressing a graduating class at one of the nation's service academies as president.

In his first Air Force Academy address in 2012, Obama encouraged the graduating cadets to help make "the 21st Century ... another great American century."

Obama also recalled the first time he visited the academy in the summer of 2008, when he was running for his first term as president and the incoming Class of 2012 was preparing for their field training.

"I was proud to be here when you began this journey, and I thought I'd come back and help you celebrate at the end," Obama said in 2012.

Air Force Secretary Deborah Lee James delivered the commencement address last year.

The graduation ceremony will take place at Falcon Stadium, and will be immediately followed by a performance by the Thunderbirds.

Obama's 2012 address is below.
