Air Force Academy cadet faces Article 32

An Air Force Academy cadet accused of sexual assault will face an Article 32 hearing on Wednesday.

Cadet 2nd Class Armis J. Sunday was charged with one specification of sexual assault, according to a news release from the Colorado-based academy.

Some of the senior lacrosse players and swimmers involved were not allowed to graduate with the rest of their class last month, and it remains to be seen whether they will still receive their commissions.

The hearing will determine if probable cause exists to support the charge and whether Sunday should face a court-martial, according to the news release.
