A third-year Air Force Academy cadet was convicted last week of wrongfully using cocaine, but he was found not guilty of wrongfully using marijuana.
Cadet 2nd Class Daven D. Horne was convicted April 4 by a court-martial panel of five officers and sentenced to one month confinement and forfeiture of all pay and allowances, the academy said in a Monday release.
It has not yet been decided whether Horne will be disenrolled from the academy, discharged from the military, and made to reimburse the Air Force for the cost of his education there, the release said.
